Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Vendors

  • Review Management Program
  • TrustQuotes Library
  • TrustQuotes for Salesforce
TrustRadius is helping solve a few business problems:

  • Getting customers to provide "mini case studies" that we can quote in marketing materials
  • Monitoring sentiment vs. competitors and using the comparisons for competitive deals
  • Discovering interest level of prospects who may be viewing our profile
  • Providing the sales team with simple, specific quotes to send to their prospects in the sales process

Pros

  • Customizing questions to learn about specific aspects of the customer experience has been helpful
  • Seeing which companies are viewing our profile helps the sales team identify warm leads
  • Trust Quotes have been great for our marketing team's collateral

Cons

  • Some of the people who rated our product--but didn't leave in-depth reviews-- do not appear to be real users
  • Would like the ability to see prospects who are looking at competitor profiles, but not ours
  • The content requires a login and I feel the "gate" is too aggressive. Let people surf around more before requiring them to sign up.
  • Manage brand reputation
  • Scale customer proof through reviews
  • Third-party validation of marketing claims
  • Create sales enablement content
  • Improve sales efficiency
  • Our sales team looks at reports of which businesses looked at our profile and uses this for prospecting
  • We have a wealth of high quality, specific quotes we can use for marketing material
We've used G2 Crowd. Similar offering with a few things we like--sponsored content, higher overall volume--but TrustRadius provides significantly better review quality.
I work on the customer side, so it hasn't been a direct impact on my KPIs but it has been really helpful for Sales and Marketing. It's been a great way to leverage our strong relationships with our best customers and amplify their positive experience to prospective buyers.
The quality of reviews is very high. They are like mini case studies. Each review yields 5+ great quotes that we can use for marketing purposes or even to send around as internal "pick-me-ups"

Custom questions are crucial. We wanted to make sure we were getting direct feedback on specific topics and using custom questions was vital. "A question well asked is half answered."
If you believe your prospects are doing research on you or on a similar solution, you should be more in control of your reputation and TrustRadius is great for this. More importantly, this is an excellent way to get detailed feedback from customers and you can use it for marketing collateral.

Thank you so much for your very thoughtful review! I'm thrilled to hear that we've generated more quotable content than you can possibly use. That's music to my ears! As the volume of content increases, vendors often find new and creative ways to slice and dice it to match prospects with social proof points. That can lead to a greater appetite for even more reviews to support all the personas and use cases you're targeting. We've heard from several customers that they would like to have access to data on brands who are in market, but have not yet researched their solution. We're actively exploring related features for 2019. As we roll this out, we'll be sure to follow up and share the approach we're taking. The one solution we *do* currently offer in this area is the ability to add category-level buyers to your retargeting audiences and campaigns. If this is of interest, please let your dedicated Customer Success Manager know. And a couple quick points of clarification: - TrustRadius no longer requires a login for most buyers to read reviews. What you may find, however, is that if you're using the site repeatedly over multiple months, you will eventually be prompted to register. Anyone who finds this too invasive is welcome to view the site using a "private" or "incognito" browser tab (in which case, you'll never see a prompt). - We take the validation of ratings and reviews on the site *very* seriously. If the questionable ratings you mention are still posted, please notify our Research team by email (research [at] trustradius.com) and we will investigate ASAP. We send notifications of every new rating and review to our subscribed customers as an extension of our rigorous vetting process and *always* want to hear your concerns. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience and give thoughtful feedback where we can improve. Sincerely, -patrick Patrick R. Hansen TrustRadius VP of Customer Success
