Overall Satisfaction with Typeform

We used Typeform to collect survey responses for customer research and content marketing

Pros

  • The final survey look and feel is the best I have seen compared to other tools
  • Can use conditional logic to change the questions presented to respondents based on previous responses
  • Creating questions on the backend and customizing the look of it is easy

Cons

  • When you first use the tool it can be difficult to understand how to use it. Not as intuitive as Google Forms
  • Figuring out how to embed the form can be tricky
  • I don't like that all forms by default show the questions one by one or the staggered format. I would like for it to have the option to show multiple fields/questions at the same time rather than taking the respondent through one by one
  • Compared to Google Forms, Typeform is more beautiful so it has helped improve our brand image when we send it out
  • Typeform has helped save time
  • Typeform has helped us improve brand awareness by helping us collect original research for reports
Typeform takes a little bit of getting used to. Compared to Google Forms there are a lot more parts to the software and customizing the form isn't as intuitive. I have also found that embedding it into one smaller section of a webpage seamlessly can be a little tricky. But everything can be figured out eventually and the analytics are very good.
Typeform has much better customizablity options and more functionality compared to Google Forms, including the embed option. Mailchimp forms can look a little rudimentary and ugly and are also not great for research surveys. Hubspot Forms has the same issues as Mailchimp, plus we don't want entries on all forms to get recorded in Hubspot

Do you think Typeform delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Typeform's feature set?

Yes

Did Typeform live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Typeform go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Typeform again?

Yes

I think Typeform is great for quick short surveys for business purposes. But I would not recommend it for academic research or for creating really long surveys. I also would not use it for contact forms or demo request forms. Because you can't see multiple questions at once, as a respondent it is difficult to double check all your responses and I'm worried that people may accidentally submit wrong email addresses/phone numbers etc
