Overall Satisfaction with Ubiquiti Networks UniFi

We use Ubiquiti [Networks UniFi] for all of our wireless devices. The performance is great and all of their devices are very configurable and easy to use.

Pros

  • High speed
  • Very scalable
  • Easily Managed
  • Secure management

Cons

  • Management takes a little bit to get used to
  • Not easy to setup a wireless bridge
  • Technical support is slow for difficult issues.
  • Ubiquiti products outperform others
  • Scalability to have a dozen mesh devices
  • Easy management of dozens of devices.
Ubiquiti uses profiles to manage their devices, like other vendors, but the functionality, easy of configuration, automated updates make Ubiquiti a better fit for SMB.

Most of my colleagues are IT pros, and they use Ubiquiti [Networks UniFi]. The product is awesome for IT departments. End users may not be the best fit for managing these devices.
