Overall Satisfaction with Ubiquiti Networks UniFi

We currently have an ubiquity VM controller with multiple access points, and 802.1x authentication is supported. It is best suited for outdoor long-range requirements. The main issue we face with these devices is the lack of penetrative power. Moreover, clients get disconnected in high-density environments. The controller is highly user-friendly and robust.
  • Ap handoffs work well
  • Getting the desired Bandwidth in less interference areas.
  • 1x Authentication is stable.
  • Disconnection issue in high dense environment.
  • Less penetrative power.
  • Less troubleshooting options in controller.
  • Vm controller is stable
  • Easy to deploy
  • Easy to configure
  • Clients faced disconnecting issues
  • Outdoor units performed well.
  • Budget was in line with our requirements.
Ubiquity is easy to configure, first-time installation and management is a lot easier, the controller is free of charge and access points worked well with the software controller.

Would you buy Ubiquiti Networks UniFi again?

No

It is best suitable for outdoor requirements, and has long signal coverage for long-distance coverage, at the same time it is not suitable for indoor areas where obstructions and interferences are high. It is cost-effective also making it suitable for medium-level customers also. Overall a medium product at this budget level.
