Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
We use UKG Pro as our HRIS for all things related to the employee's time with us during and after their employment. It is used across the whole organization to manage employee data, process job changes, and benefits enrollment. It alleviates HR responsibility as it is a self-service tool for employees to update addresses, W4s, pull pay stubs and elect benefits. It services as an information platform to reach all employees as we have over 140 locations across the US.
- UKG Pro is completely malleable to fit an organization's needs whether it be different PTO plans or benefits to allowing users to make job/salary changes.
- It is very easy to use. With high turnover, we have new users every day and we are able to provide guides so new managers can jump right in without a lot of training.
- It continues to allow old employees to access their information for employment dates, pay stubs, and tax documents.
- We have a lot of processes that go through the system with several approvals. Sometimes, the process will get stuck with one approver who requests to change the effective date, and we need to resubmit the whole transaction to fit the update.
- We find that BI can be difficult for our most skilled users.
- We have many rehires whose company paid benefits need to manually reinstated to their profile. We wish these were auto-added as if they were a completely new hire.
- We believe the self service tool enables HR to shift focus to other areas of importance.
We find UKG Pro to be user friendly and financially feasible. Other systems are either more expensive and difficult to use or do not offer the capabilities we need and depend on.
We have several different companies. This year we did not meet the timeline to set up a new company under a different FEIN, but UKG was able to work with us to complete the project timely and efficiently.
