Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use UKG Ready for all HRIS functions, Timekeeping and Payroll. Overall the products work great, although we experience issues when adding expanded functionality. We are currently in process of adding several "feeders" for outside sources of data and the turnaround time on these implementations is quite long ad cumbersome to complete. We have also had issues generating Payroll Journal Entries that are compatible for import to SAP.

Usability

I think it works well for individuals who are using it daily, but for the majority of our employees and approvers that are not constantly monitoring activities it can be somewhat confusing when the time comes for timesheet edits/approvals. I think this is more of a training problem, however. The usability is great, but it seems like adding functionality and/or feeders should have a more streamlined process.

Ease of Integration

It has been quite challenging to get a lot of our feeders off the ground and running. We experience 10+ week timelines which results in manual workarounds and additional work. Also, it has been challenging to just get a singular point of contact for status updates. It seems like once they are implemented thy work well, but getting there is the tough part.

UKG Personal Experience

UKG has helped us streamline our payroll process significantly, cutting an entire day off of our processing timelines. We also enjoy the workflows that provide backup and documentation for compliance purposes. Additionally, we have seen a reduction in payroll errors and oversights.

UKG Ready is a great resource for our company and functions well for our HRIS & Payroll needs. Labor reporting, dashboards, and global/policy set ups are particularly useful for us. We also benefit from change reports, reconciling reports, and effective date functionality. Communication and training for workflows and change triggers have been challenging for us, but overall we enjoy the product and it serve us well.
