Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

We're using it for 3 of our locations to manage HR and Payroll activities. It replaced our outdated version of SAP and lowered our costs.

Pros

  • Free online learning is amazing. I have taken the BI courses several times and it's helped strengthened my knowledge
  • Managing security is very easy and intuitive
  • Administration of the application is easy

Cons

  • UTM - The point system needs a lot more work
  • UTM - Being a manufacturing company the has union and non union employees, UTM can't handle all of our time scenarios
  • UTM - Reporting for points, I'm stuck using the reports delivered by UltiPro because the points are not reportable fields yet
I did not support our prior payroll system so I don't have knowledge to compare.
Detail the Time scenarios and be sure Ultimate can handle them all easily...without a lot of manual intervention.

Using UltiPro

I'm very hopeful that Ultimate is actively fixing their deficiencies. By the time our contract is up I believe it will be a much stronger product and will meet our needs.

UltiPro Support

UltiPro continues to improve every year. They have excellent support! Their help desk is very helpful, responsive and professional. They are quick to call you back and go above and beyond to help you get answers to your questions/issues. Their online resources are by far the best I've seen so far. They are proactive with their communication of upcoming releases, live knowledge sharing sessions and overall change management.
