Overall Satisfaction

It is being used by four of us in HR and 7-9 in recruitment and 3 in Finance. All employees have self service portal access.

Pros

  • Onboarding works great. I think it is impressive to new hires to see that the company processes their new hire paperwork seamlessly and paperless. It's easy to use for the administrator and flows over to payroll processing easily.
  • Employee self service portal is user-friendly.

Cons

  • Future dating for benefit deduction changes.
  • Ability to sort benefit deductions instead of the default alphabetical order.
  • Tier II support response time can feel like a black hole sometimes.
  • Paperless new hire processing saving money and time
I have used only ADP Enterprise prior to the current company and Ultipro is definitely much more user friendly.
Recruiting module is not friendly to campus recruiting. Cognos reporting has great capabilities but is not user friendly in that it really has a steep learning curve.
I think it depends on how much the firm is looking to get out of the system. Currently the benefit side of the system is limited in terms of customization capabilities.
