Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

Use of Ultipro was recently implemented at my company for HR, Payroll, Benefits and Time Management administration throughout the company. I personally am using it as an hourly employee so I use the system for time punches, PTO requests, view time sheets and pay stubs.
  • It is functional for the most part, but it pretty much has to be used in Internet Explorer. Certain functions are blocked by Chrome and Firefox for being insecure because of improper web page scripting, attempting to load active, actionable parts of pages through http inside of a webpage that is supposed to be encrypted.
  • Much of the system is convoluted and choppy and seems to be built up of many separate parts. It does not flow very well. Although the main interface runs through an encrypted connection (https), several functions, such as Time Management opens in a popup window that is loaded through an unencrypted connection (http). I am certainly not very confident in the security of Ultipro's online system. It seems very poorly constructed and more of a piecemeal approach.
If you are looking for a well developed, easy to use and secure interface, there are much better systems in my opinion. My personal experience with ADP as a HR, Time Management and Payroll provider was much easier to use and seemed more like of finished product.

Using UltiPro

I personally don't have a direct choice over whether our company uses this HR, Payroll system.
