We use UltiPro as our primary HRIS/payroll system. It is managed by HR and payroll, but all employees have employee self-service access and managers have manager self-service access. We also use the benefits and life events for open enrollment, new hires, and life changes.

Using UltiPro
700 - We have all employees and managers using the system in addition to HR and Payroll staff. Employee have a standard user account. In additional to the user account, manager have Manager Self-service and use the system for performance reviews and recruiting.
3 - Our overall system is managed by one person who have access to everything and functions as the system administrator. This person needs various skills including strategic vision, data analysis, system design, project management, organization, technical, and teaching/training. This person needs to be able to listen and hear the challenges that employees, managers, and HR have and how the system can be used to help or support them.
- Cloud based system. It was important for us to have a cloud based system as to reduce our needed IT support.
- A fully integrated system that allows employees to access one system for everything.
- Configurability over customization. UltiPro allows so may areas of the system to be configured as needed which saves time and money over the need for customs.

- I think that open enrollment and life events are easy for employee to completed in the system. With the ability to configure the events, it makes it easy for employee to walk through the benefit options available to them.
- The "Smart Dashboard" is great for employees. It allows them to configure their home screen with information that is important to them and makes is very easy to access.
- The new "Talent Dashboard" allows manager to have a variety of information at their finger tips with easy and elegant display.
- The employee review leaves something to be desired. The fact that the system doesn't' allow formatting of the goals or the review text is a burden to for our staff and the area of the system we get the most feedback about. This functionality exists in other areas of the system, so I am not sure why it can't be expanded to the reviews.
- Additional Contributor in Reviews - this is a nice feature that we need due to our matrix-ed organization, however with no ability to remove/send back/ edit the Additional Contributor feedback, we have very limited use of the function. Ultimate needs to expand this functionality so that at least the admins can send the comments back for editing.
Yes - Ok so far. The functionality is limited as of right now, but what they do offer is good. Basic pay, PTO balances, etc.
