Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
Woodforest utilizes UltiPro as our employee system of record, for payroll purposes and Onboarding. This system is used company wide; however, is administered by the HR, Benefit, Payroll teams and myself. All employee demographic information is updated by the employee themselves and if necessary sent through an approval process which includes our HR, Benefit and Payroll Teams. Any Job related updates are entered by the Manager or One Up Manager of the employee and then sent through an approval process that is determined by the business process; this approval process also includes our HR, Benefit and Payroll Teams.
- Serves as a system of record.
- Intuitive for employees.
- Would like for workflow approvers to have the ability to update requests during the approval process instead of having to deny the request and ask the manager to reenter. The old and new values should also be available.
- Would like for employee supervisor to be updated automatically to the next level manager when their manager is terminated in the system.
- Would like for the business process email notifications to be configurable by request type.
- For example, we would like to add verbiage to the email notification sent when a Termination is entered that reminds managers to complete certain steps and to confiscate all company equipment, etc. from the employee before they leave the location.
Prior to UltiPro we used Ceridian; however, I was not part of the implementation team so I cannot speak to why we chose UltiPro. However, I can say that although we have found some shortfalls with UltiPro (previous versions of UTA and Performance Management) we have been satisfied overall. It serves as an efficient system of record and Payroll system.
