Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

Right now, our company is using UltiPro for HR and payroll. So far, we have not been satisfied with the organization of UltiPro's software and their financial reporting abilities. They do answer calls quickly, and the reps are very familiar with complicated issues involving payroll.

We partnered with UltiPro to manage our HR and payroll, but we have not felt completely satisfied with the system. Some functions, such as severance, pay for a terminated employee, are very manual. There is no way to have the severance pay auto add to each payroll. A check has to be created each time.
The speed of UltiPro has never been an issue.
Customer service is rapid over the phone. I am rarely on hold. However, when a case needs to be submitted via the Customer Success Portal, we may never hear back.
If I call into their 800 number, their reps are always fast to answer, fast to understand and fast to explain a fix for any issue I am having.
I wish that I could say we recommend this software, but the reporting and communications issues we have are souring our experience. If you need something changed, like tax rates for another state, you have to create multiple cases, and sometimes wait days to weeks for the change to take effect. UltiPro would probably be better suited for a company with local employees only.
