Vena has done a great job of reaching out to re-assess our needs now that we are operational. Vena also was able to answer questions that we might have had along the way and was always prompt in answering our questions. This has been a great support level that looks ready to keep growing.
Our budget process has been quicker to complete, and it has also allowed a deeper dive into the data. We are able to break down our sales budgets and forecasts by each sales rep, which also allows quick decisions to be made. Changes can be made on the fly to make sure we are always in lockstep with the sales team.
BlackLine and Vena are similar in ways that they can help analyze the GL for any variances or discrepancies. At face value, you might think they are separate flows and do not cross. But with the ability to do account recs within Vena, there is indeed overlap. We are in the process of getting account recs up and running in Vena, but it looks powerful so far.
Vena is being used by our company to tie all areas of the company together to achieve a complete budget function. It has also fostered a deeper relationship with our data, by allowing us to gain additional insights. Our sales team has been empowered to own more of the budget process, giving them more incentive to complete tasks on time and accurately.
