Overall Satisfaction with Vena Solutions

Financial reporting and FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, modeling). It enables us to automate our financial statement reporting and providing us flexibility in creating multiple roll-up hierarchies. It's a controlled, audited, and centralized platform for all of our budgeting/planning files that is easy to customize as our assumptions and models change.

  • Knowledge and experience of consultants can vary, making implementations long and arduous.
  • Out of the box templates that are industry specific with best practices.
  • Template load times can be long despite not having a large data set.
  • Reduce report preparation times.
  • Versioning control and audit trail.
Vena is best suited for companies that have evolving models and assumptions that don't have resources to dedicate to just manage the platform or bottomless budgets to create SOWs with third parties or consultants. Being Excel-based, team members can learn to pull reports on the fly and create supporting documentation all within the platform and its controls. If leveraging Vena for financial statement reporting and FP&A, you'll see quicker wins. The platform is not best suited for companies that want to load large data sets into the platform, we are pretty simple operation and experience delay times in templates loading. With all the customizing capabilities, it can be paralyzing for users that are not confident in excel or creating templates/forms from scratch.

When you receive a great customer support rep, you'll get support right away but other times we've waited four days before getting a response. The benefit of Vena's customer support is that they're always willing to field questions where other vendors are limited to what they will respond to.
