Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We use WatchGuard Firebox M570 firewalls with high availability (HA) for our BOVPN between sites and internet gateways on each site. Each site has 2 units of M570 in a cluster configuration. We use Authpoint as well for our MFA use for remote VPN users. WatchGuard addressed our PCI and cybersecurity compliance requirement

Hands down not to look further at other companies, WatchGuard meets our requirement in PCI and cybersecurity compliance. Upgrading from legacy firebox firewalls to the latest firebox M570 was so straightforward and seamless that made my life easy. All configurations were migrated and worked perfectly on the new firewall devices with cluster high availability configuration. It takes little to no downtime whenever there is a firmware update.
WatchGuard Authpoint is very useful that can be managed in the cloud. Every time there is a user access request for authorized company users and contractors, administrators can easily go to the cloud and manage users such as revoking devices and adding devices. It is very convenient and does not require installing additional hardware or virtual machine to install it.
Yes, WatchGuard AuthPoint allows company authorized users and contractors to authenticate from their smartphones enabling rapid activation of the AuthPoint app. Also, this easy access method has been well received by users and has encouraged compliance in both PCI and cybersecurity. Meets also our cybersecurity insurance requirement for a lesser cost.

WatchGuard Authpoint with push authentication is well suited for authorized company users and contractors. Configured using client SSL VPN and push authentication on users' mobile phones and/or computers ensures only authorized users are permitted. It may be less useful depending on the company security requirement on the internal network authentication.
