Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We use WatchGuard AuthPoint to gain access to our Network resources remotely. This provides an additional layer of security for our Administrators.

Due to the increase in ransomware attacks, our Administrators can rest easy knowing that the likelihood of false actors gaining access to our resources is slim to none.
  • Length of Passcode timeout.
  • Ease of installation.
  • User-friendly interface.
  • Sense of security.
  • Ability to save IP Address.
  • Sense of security that access is limited to few users that have WatchGuard AuthPoint credentials.
Although there can be issues with authentication conflicts that may cause account lock-outs, Microsoft Authenticator is simple and effective. One upside to WatchGuard AuthPoint is the longer timer for the authentication code time length, especially for users that aren't "fast typers". WatchGuard AuthPoint is a better-use for users that need access to a specific server.
Benefited from being able to access resources remotely in a secure manner. The few users that have WatchGuard AuthPoint accounts, can generally access network resources while traveling, which is a big must for their roles. The simplicity of using the mobile device to obtain the authentication code makes this a worth-while product.
Well-Received due to the adoptability rate with users that aren't very tech-savvy. As the users may travel often, and are not connected to our internal network, they can still access our resources to complete any tasks. The reset timer of the code is also helpful for users that aren't fast typers.
For administrators that are concerned with resource security, but also need access to those resources remotely, this has been a great product. They can access the resources whenever and wherever, and know that only authorized users have this capability. Easy set-up, and minimal oversight needed to maintain the product. We are very satisfied.

Well suited for users that need access to secure network files remotely. Ensures that only individuals with the proper credentials can gain access.

Users that have other means (Microsoft Products) to access same network files can circumvent the need for WatchGuard AuthPoint. Especially if using the built-in Microsoft Authentication. (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
