Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

We deploy WatchGaurd solutions to many of the customers we manage and monitor, from end to end, for their network infrastructure. The single-pane glass of management via the web portal is a priceless feature, which makes troubleshooting issues a lot easier.

Pros

  • Ease of configuration.
  • Ease of deployment.
  • Ease of management.

Cons

  • It would nice to have CLI access through the web GUI.
  • I have nothing negative to state regarding the use of WatchGuard solutions. The initial investment in the solution is minimal, compared to the time and money you save when troubleshooting an issue and getting support from Tech support.
We purchase our WG devices through Synnex and have always enjoyed our ordering experience with them. They respond quickly to questions, quote requests and processing an order comes easy to them.
An all in one management platform is a plus to any solution, which includes WatchGaurds. Easy to use and understand. Make managing the solution very easy.
It has been a positive impact as we manage multiple customer deployments and can respond to any issues or outages quickly.
We worked with our local Sales and Technical folks assigned to our company. We are very happy with the constant communication and initiative to get involved with the deals we present to them.
I have to say that WatchGuard licensing is the easiest to understand and deploy compared to other vendors.
WatchGuard, compared to the two vendors listed, is a lot easier to configure and deploy. Tech support is second to none.

Using WatchGuard Network Security

I gave it a 9 because there is no "perfect" device in the market. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.
