Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

Webex App by Cisco offers a suite of products that includes a web conferencing software system that helps our organization to manage several different web-conferencing functions from within one platform. It is used for meetings with features like automatic transcripts and video recordings via cloud storage. Webex App calls offer a cloud calling platform that gives a single point of contact for clients and customers to call and allows us to answer from any of our devices. Webex Teams is the business messenger to communicate with people inside and outside of our organization with secure file sharing screen sharing and two-way whiteboarding.

Pros

  • Webex Teams is the business messenger featured in all Webex suite plans to communicate with people inside and outside of the organization with secure file sharing screen sharing and two-way whiteboarding.
  • Webex gives you a single phone number that you can answer from any of your devices to present a unified profile to your clients and your outgoing calls can come from any of those devices and you can transfer those calls between devices or to other phone lines as necessary.

Cons

  • Integration with other apps isn't optimal with some users citing outlook in particular connecting to meetings can sometimes be delayed for extended periods.
  • The stream quality on Webex meetings is good so long as you have a stable internet connection.
  • Pricing is a common con for Webex, especially for smaller businesses.

Webex App offers more features than Microsoft Teams and it can help manage several different web-conferencing functions from one platform. Webex is a solid, reliable, and nice meeting tool which offers several in-call features with good call quality and the ability to take calls from the phone or laptop itself. The quality of streaming is very good.

Built-in noise reduction and gesture recognition allow for a meeting experience with fewer interruptions to emphasize information. Screen sharing or whiteboarding to further illustrate your points. In case if anyone misses the meeting or you need to review any discussion points you can download the automatically generated transcript from the meeting or distribute the cloud recording of the meeting to your team. During Covid-19, it has really helped organizations to cope with a difficult situation to work from home scenario.

Using Webex App

This product includes custom extensions and up to six-way conference calls and if you need to step things up from a call to a meeting you can transfer from a Webex call to a Webex Meeting. The filters and advanced search functions allow you to find content in all of your previous communications so nothing slips through the cracks with one drive and SharePoint integration. It's super easy to co-edit documents from within a chat space without having to download and send files back and forth.
