Overall Satisfaction with Webex App
Telling truth, being a Cisco engineer I don’t see its future where Microsoft Teams would take over of Webex App. I faced sporadic technical difficulties when I joined Webex Team from the Webex App, such as I don’t see a chat window, but if I join from browser chat works. It's just an example but many things like that happen. Cisco does not have any mail app or share point where MS Teams gives access to all the SharePoint files in the Teams app. Cisco does not have an all-in-one solution and might lose market in near future. Positive things about Webex App are when I need to speak to a person from any other company, I can contact them easily and don’t have to go through funny federation things where a lot of compliant people agree on certain things.
- Easy to connect people outside my company.
- Screen sharing and screen controls.
- Ease of file sharing outside my organisation.
- Make space for every third party free easy integration for voip app.
- A way to see Microsoft stuff such as sharepoint files, OneDrive etc.
- People like simple things. Spaces and spaces inside spaces theory not up to the mark. Need redesign.
- GUI redesign.
- Positive ease of contact.
- Positive excellent quality of audio video meeting room conversations.
- Negative if an MS Teams person joins Webex App through Polycom interconnectivity there are a lot of problems.
