Webex App Review

We currently use Webex for large town hall meetings where we stream communications between management to field workers. We also use it in our meeting rooms where we use smart boards integrated with Webex for collaboration with team members onsite and remote. The scope of our use case is to support remote collaborations from a small to large scale.

Some challenges included getting everyone work from home equipment such as headphones, stable wifi, and ergonomic work stations. Webex helped bridge the collaboration gap between employees to help them engineer solutions. Webex also helped provide visuals for engineers to interface with their field technicians to troubleshoot problems remotely. Webex helped record these troubleshooting calls for lessons learned.

Cisco's anyconnect capabilities allowed us to migrated all of IT to work from home during the pandemic but we are currently operating a hybrid work from home solution. Webex is great for remote collaboration and coordinating IT outages. Webex is also great for communicating telecommuting policies between management and their staff.

Before hybrid work most communications were through emails or phone calls. After moving to hybrid work with Webex it has increased communications and collaborations so our team feels well connected with each other. Webex also helps record meetings so our team can revisit any meetings they may have missed out on.
