Overall Satisfaction with WebEx Meetings

It is used across the whole organization. We use it for virtual meetings and to offer virtual training opportunities. We also use it for immediate screen sharing.

Pros

  • It's very easy to launch a quick meeting.
  • Each user in our organization has their own meeting room, which helps with scheduling meetings through Outlook.
  • The ability to integrate with our LMS for virtual training.

Cons

  • Honestly there isn't much. One thing might be that we experience some latency at times while we are sharing a system on the screen.
  • Reduces travel expenses.
  • Allows the opportunity for meetings to occur in a shorter time frame, less time away from day to day work, getting to a quick resolution.
WebEx is so much more user friendly. The ability to pass control is smooth and additional features like chat and polling are much more intuitive than on Lync or Adobe Connect.
It's great for virtual meetings and training. You have the ability to include people from many different time zones, reducing the need for unnecessary travel.

It is not ideal for longer training sessions, as people tend to multi-task and drift, so it should not be viewed as a replacement for in person training, but as a supplement.
