Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

I use Webex for all our interactions with our client teams that are based in the US. We use the meetings, calls and chat functions for our business purposes. Webex helps us collaborate on the issues that we face during our BAU activities. It also helps us share media over calls and meetings to help all stakeholders understand the issues.

Pros

  • COntent sharing during calls/meetings

Cons

  • There is no option to pin a participant to the focus area
  • The floating video panel is visible to participants when sharing, forcing me to minimize it; then I do not get to see my participants
  • There is no focus on content option. You have to go full screen mode to view the content bigger.
  • significantly improved our team's ability to collaborate, especially with remote team members and external partners
  • Occasionally, there are connectivity issues or limitations with interactive features for larger audiences
  • The ability to host high-quality video calls across different time zones without significant latency has strengthened our international partnerships and internal communication
Webex is really good with video and audio quality. However, like mentioned before, I haven't seen an option to pin the participant window. Also, there is no focus on content option that is available in Microsoft Teams. Third, the floating video panel blocks the content when sharing the screen; if minimized, you can not see the participants or who ever is speaking on the call. This creates a problem for people using just one screen.

Webex, like many other such tools, does the job. It helps with collaboration in business setup. It is quite useful for calls, meetings and even for one on one interactions via chats. Content sharing is quite easy too. Unlike MS Teams, you can directly copy and paste files in the chat. That's the best thing about Webex.
