Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
We use Webexpenses across the whole organization. It's main use for our company is to record and manage work-related expenses our employees sometimes have to make. E.g. Declare expenses relating to self-development, also some team event expenses or business travel costs such as train tickets. I just have to submit evidence of the expense, my lead can then review it and if everything looks good my expense will be passed for payment.
- One place to record all sorts of expenses. This approach makes recording expenses easier for an end user like me.
- When it comes to self-development expenses the system lets me know of my annual budget. Makes it easier to plan my self-development budget.
- I can always check what expenses have I reported historically. This makes it easier to ensure my new expenses are submitted appropriately.
- I sometimes struggle with associating the expense evidence material to the expenses I want to report. I.e. I usually take a picture of my receipt and upload it but sometimes I find it hard to associate the picture with the actual report. The flow could be more automatic I think.
- I sometimes fail to find the right button to Submit the expense report. Perhaps make it more visible.
- The flow from start to finish could have more indication on the steps I have taken and on the steps that I will need to take next to complete the process of declaring my expenses. Webexpenses could illustrate the process a bit better.
- Central place to manage expenses - less other systems to manage.
- Overview of how budgets are used.
- Easy approval flows for approving expenses - less time spent on negotiating expenses.
Yes. Once I have submitted my expense report, it will go to my Team Lead who will then have to review my expense report. They can either approve or reject my submission.
Since I was not in the project team, it is hard for me to tell you that.
