Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
We use Webexpenses to process our staff's expenses. Our staff enter their expenses on a monthly basis and then the Finance team review and approve them, to be paid alongside payroll. It removes the need for paper based expense forms and allows employees to upload their receipts. The employees themselves will allocate the expenses to different cost centres, clients and expense codes in our Accounting system.
Pros
- Paperless.
- Xero integration.
- Cloud based.
Cons
- Two separate users needed to review and approve. Doesn't work in one person Finance functions.
- Hard to read receipts when reviewing claims, should be able to zoom in.
- Would like to see a module where you can see your monthly reviewed and approved claims so that I can see which claims I need to pay at month end.
- Cuts down on paperwork.
- Makes reviewing claims quicker.
We are still using manual reviews to check claims submissions and approving expenses. Our employees are able to raise claims whenever they are free as it is a cloud based system. Our month end review process is more insightful as we can run reports and look at any anomalies or trends.
