We store all in-house photos that we shoot at our studio, and integrate it with our home grown backend system

It's ridiculous that we can't simply store any kind of file on Acquia DAM (Widen). We mainly need to store photos, but also want to store 3D renderings of clothing and specific pattern files which are not supported. Frustrating.

In my opinion, pretty poor, but this is only based on the one interaction I was involved in related to unsupported file types. We still believe it's ridiculous that you can't simply store any file type. This shouldn't introduce any additional overhead for you or anything, we just want to store other related file types in the same places as photos and images.

Acquia DAM (Widen) is well suited for photo and image storage, along with associating metadata with these files. However, Acquia DAM (Widen) doesn't have the ability to even simply store other file types which is frustrating and makes us consider other providers. We'll see if change can be made, but this may be a deal breaker for us since we just want all assets in one place.
