Overall Satisfaction with Wix
Wix was used for creative simple websites for our clients, especially those with simplistic designs.
- Drag & drop interface
- Simple, shareable preview link
- Robust website templates
- Functionality of website is simplistic
- Plugins and external API integrations are rudimentary
- Not a good fit for clients with precise design visions
- Positive = clients with simplistic ideas, designs and functionality were often a good fit for Wix
- Negative = often clients were dissatisfied with the look and functionality so we went with other website vendors like Squarespace
- Squarespace and html5
For most brands, we actually went with Squarespace -- better designs, better functionality, and more external API integrations.
