Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this product for content management and analysis. This choice was made partially because of the enterprise security features available . We were also interested in the professional services but did not wind up using them as we originally intended. We saw the integration with CI/CD and Git as a big advantage as well. Support options also seemed to be superior to other options as well.

I have not directly interacted with support. I do work with administrators that do, and their experiences seem to be fairly positive.

Alternatives Considered

Sitecore Content Hub, Sitecore CDP, Contentful and Acquia Digital Experience Platform

I was not involved in the selection process of this product as that decision was made at a higher level. Though, as previously stated, security and scalability were definitely some of the top factors from the limited amount of interactions I had with those making the decision.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well I think its ability to deal with high traffic environments is great. As a major Fortune 500 company we can certainly drive a lot of traffic. Also having developers able to integrate tools with it through the plugins, APIs, and git are really useful. I personally use Git quite a bit, but I am more of a developer than someone who uses this platform day in and day out.
