Overall Satisfaction with Workday Adaptive Planning

We use Workday Adaptive Planning for budgeting and forecasting. In my opinion, Workday Adaptive Planning is not the best tool for forecasting or tracking cash flow. We also have an issue budgeting for our media business, as the tool does not provide the level of detail we need for tracking.

  • Workday Adaptive Planning doe not pull in project task worktag.
We are using models that help us forecast.
The easy-to-use Excel function is a plus for finance.
Workday Adaptive Planning is less expensive than Oracle, and the integration is continuous.

If you have Workday for your ERP, the integration is optimal, and the drill-in function is a plus in Workday Adaptive Planning. However, in my experience, Workday Adaptive Planning cannot budget for a media company.
