Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
I found it difficult to use and I had to request that people email or text me directly when updating time-sensitive tasks. At most times it would take 2 hours before I would see a notification email that a task was updated. Occasionally it would be days before seeing notifications. The delay in notifications left me working on Christmas Day to update parts of our site.
Pros
- Puts everybody in a group setting regardless of physical location.
- When working properly it can be quite effective to get projects done on time.
- It tracks projects so that you don't forget them.
Cons
- Delays in notifications can go from a few minutes but more frequently hours to days.
- Missed deadlines due to severely delayed notification.
- Working on major holidays due to delayed notifications.
- Save your money rely on conference calls and text messages.
- This has caused missed money on sales because things were not going live on time.
- Several times we had items on 1 month long backorders because products could not be made in time.
Wrike would take up to 2 days to notify me or updates to tasks. With Asana I have yet to see a notification take longer than 3 minutes. The price is also a significant difference in favor of Asana. That may be because we are non-profit but I suggest if you look at the two products and they are in a close price range that you go with Asana.
