Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Xactly Incent is used to allow sales to see how they are doing compared to their goals. The tool also allows users to see what payments have been made. Incent gives users transparency into their compensation plans; while allowing leaders so see how their team is performing.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Incent has a lot of great use cases explaining the benefits of the tools.
Support is awesome at responding to questions.
Lots of great updates to their tools.

Cons

I wish there was more free training on the tools.
Reporting could be easier.

Return on Investment

Meets HR requirements in sharing incent statements with just the individual users and leaders.
The company needs to have enough people to learn/support the tool.
Very costly if the tool is not used to its full potential.

Likelihood to Recommend

I don't think Xactly would be a good fit for companies that only have a couple sales people. I think you would need at least 5 sales representatives to make the cost worth while. I also think you need to have at least 3 people dedicated to supporting the tools.
