Overall Satisfaction with ZipRecruiter
We use Ziprecruiter as a secondary recruiting source when it becomes difficult to source candidates from Career Sites, Indeed, Referrals, etc... They are extremely active advertising to jobseekers and are one of the only major job board sources.
Pros
- Additional Candidate Traffic
- Candidate Matching
- Candidate Sourcing
Cons
- Make it easier for us to sponsor jobs. Right now it does not feel flexible when it comes to budget options.
- More options to help us reduce our reliance on Indeed
- Options like resume database or employer branding
- Layering in Ziprecruiter to our strategy has helped improve our overall candidate pool. They seem to bring in candidates we don't have on Indeed alone.
This is the same way that Indeed operates. It turns the floodgates on; I would prefer to have better quality candidates, who are more directly matched to our job profile needs versus just flow. Quality >> Quantity.
I didn't realize that those tools had been in place, and have not really been using them. I think more information about that could be helpful.
I selected Ziprecruiter to augment our staffing strategy, the more options we have in our sourcing toolkit the more likely we will get staffed.
