Zoho One - In My Opinion, Buyer Beware
Overall Satisfaction with Zoho One
We migrated from HubSpot to Zoho One with the intent of it operating as our help desk, CRM, and project management system and a long-term plan of looking at Zoho Books and Invoicing to potentially replace Oracle NetSuite. We fully implemented the CRM, Desk, and Project modules in 2022 and are working towards the implementation of Survey and SalesIQ, and considering Zoho Mail as an alternative to Mailchimp.
Pros
- CRM integrates nicely using our Zapier environment.
- The Lead to Contact/Account Conversion is very intuitive.
- Deals, Sales Orders, and Contract Zoho Sign work well together.
Cons
- In my opinion, SUPPORT IS AWFUL!!!
- If you want to get in touch with a support representative, your best bet is to call the sales number and demand to speak with an agent.
- Each of the tools operates in a silo, from a support perspective. Some applications, like books, have chat-based support and others require an e-mail.
- In my experience, expect any e-mail to the main support e-mail to go unanswered.
- The first year of support was great, but after we renewed for the second year, it has become terrible.
- CRM
- Desk
- It has had an overall negative impact since we migrated from HubSpot due to the overall lack of support.
- Our users are frustrated with the complexity and lack of consistency in the admin portals.
- CRM is the only tool that is ready for business at scale.
During the Demo, Zoho One performed well; however, post-implementation - the product has fallen short on all fronts.
