Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Reports

Zoho is used by a department of 20. The software allowed for pipeline management critical to success. Reports generated by Zoho are utilized for sales and operations reporting provided to Managers, Directors and the C-Suite. These reports provide an advanced look at the pipeline split along business imperatives allowing for reporting that is audience relevant.

Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho are two very different animals. Zoho's module approach is coupled together loosely while Microsoft Dynamics' modules are natively integrated. In the final analysis, these products may have much different use cases for different types of users. Ultimately, Zoho is fine for the reasons given, but the enterprise class of MS Dynamics makes it in a class of its own.
Zoho's approach to data connectivity is a bit of a pain. In some cases, users had to be taught the differences between left, right and center joins just to explain why data was or was not showing up in the reports. This made it difficult to democratize reporting among individuals uncomfortable with needing to know details such as these.
Data sharing did not become a big part of our use case, largely because of the difficulties with custom reporting. Had that gone more smoothly then perhaps data sharing and the pulling in of additional data sources may have become a part of what we were doing with Zoho. Unfortunately, this did not turn out to be our case.
In situations where the business is moving fast, and IT resources are gated by administration and procurement constraints, Zoho can provide an enterprise class solution without the complexity that demands IT. In cases where employees touched by CRM are savvy with social media, Zoho's approach to social for workflows is an efficiency accelerator.
