Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
We use it for scheduling conferences with prospective students who do not live locally and are interested in our program. I know our department uses it, as well as, a couple other business departments. I am not sure of its implementation across campus. We love the ability to have multiple people be on the same video conference,
- Easy to use and set up
- Great video and audio quality
- Can share screens with multiple users
- Occasionally has technical issues.
- Sometimes we have bandwidth usage issues
- Has been a very efficient tool that has saved us time in meeting with prospective applicants.
- Also, can't beat the financial value of it.
- Skype and GoToMeeting
Like I said, the particular advantage for us with Zoom is the functionality to have multiple participants on the conference at the same time which we felt Skype and GoToMeeting were not strong at.
