Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

We use Zoom Workplace to support our daily team meetings and when we host live webinars as a demand gen tactic.

Pros

  • As a remote company, Zoom helps us stay connected and efficiently run meetings
  • It's in-meeting tools foster collaboration and makes it easy to communicate via chat and notes
  • It's webinar platform is easy to use and integrates well to our other platforms.

Cons

  • During a live webinar, the UX is a little confusing in trying to share a video
  • It would be nice to have some more freedom to edit what webinar viewers see as a dashboard
  • Sometimes the video freezes and the audio is not in sync
  • We have improved our collaboration in integrating Zoom into Slack
  • Zoom webinars have been a great demand gen channel for us
  • We have been successful in converting the webinars into on-demand content and this has helped us capture more leads

Zoom Workplace is perfect for formal meetings or quick catch-ups. If you need to do some post production editing of a recording, the tools are not robust enough to do that. There have been several webinars where I needed to edit out some content and I have to save the MP4 and pull it into another system to accomplish it.
