Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Sales
As a BDR Manager, I view ZoomInfo Sales as a solid tool for prospecting, but it’s not without limitations. The database is extensive and often helps my team uncover contacts we wouldn’t otherwise find, especially in niche industries or fast-growing companies. The integration with CRM tools and workflows is also convenient for scaling outreach efforts.
That said, data accuracy can be hit or miss. We still spend time verifying contact info and updating bounced emails. Support and onboarding have been decent, but not overly proactive.

Pros
- Large contact database
- CRM integration and sale stool
- Intent data
Cons
- Data accuracy
- Credit system
- Cost per seat
- Sales pipeline
- Top of funnel activity
- Seller productivity
Impact of ZoomInfo’s Data Quality, Intent Data, and AI on My Role:
The data quality is decent—it gives us a strong starting point, though we still need to verify contacts. Intent data has helped us prioritize accounts that are actually in-market, which improves outreach efficiency. The AI features (like suggested leads or automation) are nice to have but not game-changing yet. Overall, these tools support effectiveness, but we still rely on manual judgment and other platforms to fill the gaps.

ZoomInfo Sales is solid for enterprise-level data depth, but Apollo edges it out in usability, value, and efficiency for everyday prospecting. ZoomInfo Sales has broader coverage, but Apollo’s data tends to be more accurate and up-to-date for the contacts we actually care about.
Apollo feels more transparent and flexible, especially with credit usage. ZoomInfo Sales’s credit system is more restrictive.
