Overall Satisfaction with Zuora

Zuora is Branch's billing engine. We're working with the Zuora API and our backend to determine how much and when to charge our customers. We leverage flat rate plans as well as usage based plans. We've integrated Zuora into Salesforce to empower sales reps to generate quotes and quickly close deals. Our billing support team manages customer accounts directly in the Zuora UI. Zuora is an extremely cross-functional product that touches product, sales, operations, and engineering.

Recurly was too basic for our needs. We didn't believe that we could scale with that technology.

Stripe would have required that we integrate it along side 3 other pieces of technology in order to hack together a billing system. Chargebee was too new a player for us to trust their brand and business. We wanted best in class.

All in all, we felt that Zuora was the industry leader with the most robust product. We also felt confident that Zuora would scale with our business. For the other platforms we considered, we felt like we would have had to rip them out at some point in the future and replace them with Zuora. This felt like a waste and we didn't want to do it.

Zuora is built for subscription based sales models. Zuora makes it easy to charge customers on a recurring basis. Zuora is also set up well to calculate usage and charge customers accordingly. Zuora requires deep technical integration with a company's backend.

Zuora offers an out-of-the-box Salesforce integration. However, we needed to heavily customize it to ensure it met our needs.
