It is well suited for a small enterprise which is looking at budget as its main constraint, as this is literally the best priced model at $12 a month. Then again it provides much more than the basic CRM functionality, this also is good for any medium enterprises looking to work on its productivity in all the intertwined departments of sales, marketing, order management, project management, and finance.

- Would be great if you could integrate with your select email marketing platform, or if Insightly provided email marketing tools similar to mainstream platforms.

Insightly offers a great product; it's the right fit for our company at this time. We were, however, considering moving to Contactually due to their cost effective automation features. However, they lacked the project management capabilities of Insightly. As our company grows, we would love to stay with Insightly - and if they can nail the automation and add the ability to customize a little bit more, it would be the perfect solution for us. For a larger company with a more involved sales team, you might find the metrics/reporting to be a bit basic. Insightly offers great customer service even to free customers

The interface is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Reports can quickly be made, including custom fields.The website response has always been quick to load and has never been unavailable when I have needed access. They listen to requests for additional or custom features, and they hold workshops frequently to assist new and experienced users.

I have never given any other software support a 10, but Insightly has really done a great job over the 3 years we have been using it. They are quick to respond, don't ask stupid questions, don't bump you to others, and every issue has been resolved in very short order.

I've used Insightly's online training &/ or learned as I went. I've found the blogs and online written material helpful. I've also attended a few webinars, which can be useful if you use a J-I-T approach so as not to overwhelm you (or your staff) with functionality that you are using just yet. The fact that it's all available on their website and you can learn at your own pace is invaluable

The only missing thing at this time that would make our implementation complete would be a tighter integration with Xero allowing us to send quotes and report on quotes from Insightly!Xero has, excuse the pun, ZERO reporting on quotes sent!!!They are both very good products, however it's the little things that make good GREAT!

We did a one year of evaluation of 17Hats and while there were things that we liked - like the integration with DocuSign, they were just not worth trying to make the switch. Overall, the company seemed to do a good job of growing with its clients, it just seemed a bit 'young'. They were adding stuff on request but we really needed a CRM that was already there and knew what we were going to need. Zoho seems amazing but so piecemeal that we would need to invest way too much to get all that we wanted. Really a bit overwhelming. Insightly meets our needs and continues to improve and has very responsive client support.

(+) Being able to download my LinkedIn connections was a huge benefit. (+) I use the task function to stay on top of my follow-up activity which is another positive feature. (+) The sorting capabilities also help me pinpoint the contacts that I need to stay on top of.(-) When I add a new lead from an existing organization, I would like the organization's information to automatically populate the fields like address, website, description. I enter all that information manually. (-) My mass mailing experience has been tedious due to the email function being interrupted and crashing due to bad email addresses in some of my records. (-) Many of my leads do not have current email addresses. I wish Insightly offered a tool to help find email addresses. I spend too much time researching to find email addresses.

- The most important effect that Insightly has had on our company is the unified organization of information available to the entire company. If someone leaves the company, or is just out sick, all of the info for their clients and their projects is available for management to use to keep business moving. For instance, I was called away for a family emergency and forgot to reschedule an in-house demo with a client. When the client showed up, my boss (the CEO of the Company) was able to review the client file, read the notes on the product demo and the client's needs and he was able to perform the demo himself. All of the information was right there to get him up to speed on why our client was there and what they needed.
- Efficiency is the next major positive impact that Insightly has brought. As a small, yet growing company, our employees have to be able to wear multiple hats and perform variety of functions. Insightly has brought such organization to my life that I am now able to keep much better track of all my daily tasks and in fact get so much more done in less time. My efficiency and productivity have increased dramatically.
