If you are a smaller company with not too many employees, then you may want to reconsider using this service. It is cut out for companies that have large quantities of information that need to be distributed about their pay.

  • Reporting capabilities. It is straightforward and simple.
  • The financial impact is small compared to having to implement multiple systems and or outsource to an accounting firm.
  • ADP is the "Best in Class". No other provider of like services remotely compares.

  • Reporting - there are three levels of reporting - 1. Standard Reports 2. Query Tool - users can create very simple list with some filtering functionality 3. Crystal Reports - user can create very simple to complex report pulling data from multiple table, calculated fields, etc.
  • Benefit Tracking - benefit plans are setup utilizing rate tables therefore rate changes are updated globally
  • Payroll - everyday payroll processing and tax filing that is very user friendly

ADP Streamline Payroll

  • Training was almost non existent when I was using the service. It was easy to figure out but I could have benefitted from some detailed training to help me better use the system and all its functionality.
  • I'm not sure this is anything ADP Streamline can fix because of time differences and such but it was very much like I was on an island waiting for messages in a bottle. I would upload and it would take sometimes more than a day to get a response.
  • The process was very manual when I was using the system. I did all my payroll work off ADP Streamline and basically used it to upload and relied on the rep to enter everything correctly. I felt like I had less control than I would like. I would have preferred to have some control over what was being uploaded and entered.

  • It is sometimes hard to identify parts of competency/compensation history. We built tables to store this data but it is not laid out well on the screen.
  • Sometimes, even when you tell the system to "Add to History" it doesn't update so there is history missing. This impacts someone that relies on history for troubleshooting and reports.

I give this a 9 rating because the customer support is great. I have had issues that needed to be solved very quickly and they are always so eager to help. They can give you a solution to your problem and if they try everything and still can't, they will connect you with someone that can or will.

  • As we have grown as an organization, the deficiencies in the reporting function have created more work for staff as we have to find other ways to create reports.
  • Over the last few years, we have encountered a few issues with calculations from the system which have caused a lot of additional labor hours and dollars to correct the problem.
