ADP WorkForce Suite vs. AxisCare Home Care Software vs. Float Resource Management

EmpCenter is really well suited for companies with minimal variety in time keeping needs. Certainly somewhere that has fairly regular work schedules and operational needs the system would be programmed for and meet those needs quite well. I think they assert themselves as a product specifically for those more complex companies, and I believe it is one of a few products available for companies with many employee types and complex work schedule and pay needs, but because of those complexities each have their own specific customizations I feel it is difficult for the company to then manage the different products that end up existing. Each ends up being unique so applying large scale changes doesn't work well as something we may request and need if applied over EmpCenter in general may cause problems for another company. Therefore everything has to be done on an individual basis and is more time consuming and costly.

If you like data and analyzing data then Axiscare is well suited for your outfit. If you have office staff members that are not very computer-savvy or interested in deeper dives into numbers then my belief is that AxisCare may not be the best software for you, as it may seem like too much information. However, AxisCare's support teams have been helpful to us and I am sure they could help navigate any difficulties an agency may have.

I would definitely recommend everyone to use Float, It's easy and friendly to use. Performance-wise as well it is great. Really helps in streamline and scheduling resources and their utilization. Its reporting feature is great, Shows all projects for a particular resource or all resources for a particular project. It's a go-to tool for management.

• A lot flexibility in configuration of the system
• works well with other systems. We were able to collect data from another time system, Avaya phone systems and even a point of sale system with not a lot of difficulty.
• They know their product and integration points. They were able to troubleshoot problems with hardware time collection devices quite quickly. We found the devices they sold to be quite durable.
• Out of the box they have more reports than I would have anticipated. Creating new reports was sometimes a task if it was complex but there were usually similar reports you could use as a starter template

• Providing the scheduling team with the tools to share client/ visit information with the caregivers.
• Documentation. From client visit notes to managerial notes about an employee to keeping track of chat conversations. These are all great ways to hold people in the company accountable.
• Helps me keep a "To Do List" better known as the Tasks Dashboard. I can write quick notes of what I need to do or I can assign the task to someone in the company.
• The ability to customize reports is very helpful. I am looking forward to all of the legacy reports getting updated to the more customizable form.
• The ability to auto-run and share reports is extremely helpful. I don't have to remember every day, week, or month to run the report. All I need to do is check my email and AxisCare Home Care Software sends me a notice telling me my report is done.
• The ability to create our own forms is convenient. AxisCare Home Care Software will also build a form for us if we request it and pay a small fee.
• AxisCare Home Care Software is integrated with different companies that provide services in a way to streamline it instead of having to find some program or company that is outside of AxisCare Home Care Software. For example, we now use AxisCare Home Care Software to complete all of our Background Checks.

• Updating all reports, the reports that are still old are really hard to use and the custom reports aren't nearly as functional as the others.
• Medicaid Mileage should be added in as a part of the authorizations so that we can track the available miles just like we do the hours.
• Ability to text or message contacts or the responsible parties of leads - just one way messaging but bc the first steps of acquiring a lead are email / text / call it makes it hard to complete that in a secure way. If we had to text normally we open ourselves up for HIPAA concerns but we could one way text instead to get in touch with the lead and know that we are staying compliant.
• Admin app should be fully functional for medications and MARs - you can't manage any of that from the Admin app and have to use the website instead. This is hard to work with when in the field or updating a med list while on an assessment with a client.
• Offline mode on the App - both CG and Admin app have glitchy offline mode that makes it kinda useless at times.

After spending close to 5 years to decide on which payroll product to acquire for our University, I cannot image we would switch now that we have it in use.

AxisCare Home Care Software has a lot of features that are helpful in the roles we play at [...] Arkansas. The support is fantastic! I do wish there were more features for users to store documents for themselves such as weekly task lists and monitoring forms that they would normally email to me or upload to Google Drive for storage. This however isn't something that would cause our company to switch software programs.

For the organization, documentation, easy interface, & many many other reasons. It helps make my work life better daily. I can pull up any Caregiver or Client almost immediately while being asked questions on the phone. Partnered with our SmartAutomations system, the documentation helps a lot. I've been utilizing the program for almost 4 years & I still learn new things that help.

Float is great for Project management and resource management. It is helping us work more effectively. It's a great planning tool. Smooth to understand and start working on. It has great integration with Slack, Google calendar. It has made Assigning and scheduling very easy for future projects with time management. Reporting is very easy and data extraction is too. It is also good in monitoring weekly/monthly and quarterly allocation of resources

We had no issues with the availability of the system, it has been reliable so far, the only issues were geo location at some point due to staff being in rural areas, geo location will fail to pick up.

Some of the pages load slowly and there's issues with the downloads

They have been incredibly helpful and willing to assist with every situation we have encountered. There have been some instances where they were unsure of what the issue we were experiencing was or how to fix it. They attempted though and were very responsive.

Float helps in planning upcoming projects and helps in availability management for the resource to be able to assign. The creation of resources with roles helps in assigning and formulation a proper team for a project. It shows us the capacity and work hours of resources and helps us in leave management as well as scheduling time off. Teams utilization is been made very convenient by this tool.

The training was easy to implement and understand. We had no issues completing all the training offered by the Axis staff. They were all very knowledgeable about the product and walked us through every step until the go-live day. We did the hand-holding until the end, our staff was very pleased with the patience of our trainers and thankful for their understanding, helping to be sure we were well-trained and ready for our go-live date. We are grateful. Thanks again to the trainers.

I would give this training a high rating because it was thorough and easy to understand. The trainers were detailed and very helpful throughout the transition process. They promptly addressed any concerns or issues, making it simple to set up the new Axis system and app. The support received when we encountered minor issues was excellent as well; they worked with us until everything was functioning properly. Overall, the experience was smooth and effective, leading to a successful implementation of the system.

EmpCenter is a new software to the company however, I only trained on the old software for a few months before EmpCenter was introduced. I think EmpCenter has a smoother data entry process and can run more in depth reports, but since this is the system I know best I cannot accurately compare it to previous software.

We used eRSP solutions before switching to AxisCare Home Care Software. I think AxisCare Home Care Software does a better job at organization and definitely better with customization than eRSP. AxisCare Home Care Software also has more features than eRSP did.

Very affordable

The system offered what we needed.

• EmpCenter has reduced the amount of time administrators are spending on payroll. Certainly it has made our entry to our pay system more efficient since we can simply load the data from the time keeping system and we are not collecting actual physical signatures and paper timesheets that must be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. The system does this for us and some automatic calculating of certain pay due that we were hand adding. However the feedback I am getting is that the supervisors feel their work has been increased greatly. They are spending more time correcting and approving time. Essentially the work we were doing in our central offices to review and correct time the supervisor must now do as they approve the time. We have now asked them to be more responsible for proper reporting and use which requires they know more about the rules and many different aspects of pay than they had before. We have employees who are union represented and get some benefits from the contract others do not receive, contract employees who have certain pay aspects in their contracts that must be known, as well as temporary employees and students who get very different pay from the other employees. While some things have been programmed for the system to know and handle, some things must be added to the time sheet to pay properly or the way time is reported is different (some clock out for lunch some don't) supervisors must now know these differences while that used to be a role that was more mine as an administrator. Now I just help them and audit and review.

• AxisCare data is critical to our company profitability, growth, and efficiency. The ability to utilize data effectively provides us with the means to grow and expand responsibly.
• Our projections for business growth suggest we will double our new client setup labor (AxisCare setup) for the same amount of profit stream. Only with the efficiency of AxisCare will it be possible to support the added labor required for this effort.
• End of month reports, quarterly reports, progress notes, and billing data are supported well by AxisCare. These items could be streamlined to further reduce our data processing labor.
• AxisCare is missing client associated protocol plans and other risk assessment documents. These should be available to the client and caregiver as associated with the needs of that client.
