Likelihood to Recommend Ayden has been a great resource for us with international transactions. We know that they can be a trusted gateway when it comes to dealing with our client's money. Thankful to have that confidence in this system. It also has a user-friendly interface, which allows for a concise process with clients as well.
Read full review Payoneer is well suited for freelancers whether or not they work on marketplaces. as it makes it easier to receive payments from clients abroad. More over it also takes a lot of hassle out of getting paid from international clients as well as sending cross border payments. It has some what limited implementation in e commerce type business especially where you need to automate the payment process
Read full review Pros PCI DSS Compliant Solution Provided options to configure a specific list of payments, like Alipay, ACH, PayPal, etc. Good support and quick solution for the technical help Well described documentation on technical integrations Drop in framework to display the payment options Read full review It is very well accepted world wide and also accepts more than 150 currencies. A decent and nominal exchange rates of currency as compared to similar platforms like PayPal. I can keep track of all the transactions, payments, balance, etc using Payoneer. It is because of Payoneer we can grow our business globally. Read full review Cons I would like to be able to create my own reports, like a combination between "Received payment details" and "Interactive payment accounting". Maybe you can have a better integration with PayPal. The disputes are reflected all wrong in Adyen, for example if we accept a chargeback in PayPal, in Adyen we see a "chargeback reversed" status first, then we see a "refund" status. This is very confusing for us, we have accepted that chargeback, which means we have lost the case, what are a Chargeback Reversed and a Refund statuses doing here? I think PayPal is trying to unblock the transaction that received the chargeback, but this is a very confusing way of handling the chargebacks. If I look at the "Dispute transaction details" reports, all the PayPal chargebacks are "won" because of that "Chargeback reversed" status, which is obviously wrong, we lose some cases and we win others. Amex chargebacks could be integrated. We don't see them in Adyen at all. Read full review The process of getting payment is a little bit complex in Payoneer as compared to PayPal. Receiving of payments takes a very long time and it's not instant. The customer service of Payoneer is not up to the mark and it takes a very long time to resolve simple issues. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Well, Ayden is a very easy system to manage, it allow the user a nice visibility and many details about the clients. It integrated very easily to our system and allow us to increase our activity. In addition, Ayden have a very good help center that available all the time and very helpful.
Read full review Payoneer helps me a lot on my online business journey, it gave me the support and functions that I want.
Read full review Reliability and Availability Response time are as expected, and Adyen team is always knowledgeable and are clear subject matter experts. Quite often I am assigned an engineer who is not in our time zone and sometimes 8-12 hours different from me. This causes delays in resolution due. It would be great to have a support agent who is located in the US.
Read full review Support Rating The support is really awful. They send you generic answers, and actually don't really understand what is going on. For example, when our re-verification was stuck, support agents told me that the account is active and you can send a payment. I did that, my card was charged, but the payment was declined, because the account was not active
Read full review Alternatives Considered Adyen has better handling of Disputes, provides much more detailed forecasts and withdrawal reports. Adyen has a specific page to clear doubts much more complete. Adyen have not fees for processing refunds, have not fess for chargeback received, and have not fees for retry process payments. And your processing fees are very attractive.
Read full review Before Payoneer, I used Paxum, a Canadian product, that was or is similar but more expensive. Also used Payza(later Ecopayz), and European alternative, they have their ups and downs, they aren't even listed in the Search above, basically they are both payment gateways that allow using several payment methods, and any payment gateway, the problem is they don't have any bank accounts associated with them, therefore they are more limited in that regard. Both use a card as the main withdrawal method, and both support international currencies, but there as I mentioned there isn't any bank account associated with them, nor there is a way to connect them to Stripe.
Read full review Return on Investment I cannot see any negative impact. It is good to synchronize the payment details that come from Adyem in our CRM and this allows us, now, to manage refunds and subscriptions in there and get any action done in real time and recorded in all the platforms. Quick and reliable it is a good tool to be used for managing and checking credit card transactions details. Read full review I can receive the money from anywhere around the world, and in any currency. It converts the money directly into my local currency, hence becomes easy for us to track and withdraw money from our bank accounts. Sometimes customer support lacks the ability to satisfy the customer requirements. Required to make two different accounts for receiving and sending money. Read full review ScreenShots
