Trustpilot, headquartered in Copenhagen, offers their customer review platform to help businesses gather more online reviews and merge their online profile with feedback from their top customers and bring customer reviews to other high visibility platforms (e.g. Google).
Very well. It is a lot more niche and bespoke to what we need and are looking for. Trustpilot is very broad and not focused on the digital industries so the results were vague and not constructive to us making decisions. Often Trustpilot reviews were weak in fulling assessing …

Chose Capterra
Capterra is well known, more traditional, and more focused on the software segment (different from trust pilot), and the descriptions are well summarized and optimized for those who are reading/searching. It is the primary choice by people looking for that purpose, and so it …
I would say they are neck and neck very similar. Both have the same great features, and verified users, and both are free to use. When you look for honest software reviews in any search engine, both companies are the first names to appear. That way you can compare reviews on …
Selected Trustpilot because of superior integration with the website and Google SERPS. Again, my only complaint would be Trustpilot was relatively more expensive than the other technologies.
We have a small team with limited resources and it worked well for us. Hence I can conclude that AWS Code Artifact are well suited for organizations which have limited resources in terms of hardware and access to administrators for setting up artifact repository in-house. AWS Code Artifact is also suited particularly well for organization(s) which are already using AWS Services/Infrastructure (eg. EC2) . It works quite well with existing AWS services and completes the gap which existed in AWS offering for quite some time. Organizations can move their entire DevOps toolchain and infrastructure to Amazon. It is less appropriate for organization(s) which rely on artifacts like Debian, C/C++, Go etc as AWS does not support those fully.
Capterra is best suited for anyone, from business owners looking to upgrade new system software at work to someone looking for reliable internet security at home, Capterra will assist in your decision. It may be less appropriate for anything outside of software, I.E. Medical advice. But if you need help with choosing products for your small business management, this is it.
Unfortunately, Trustpilot's disingenuous pricing habits and communication methods are the reason we ultimately ended our 3 year relationship with the company. In 2023, we signed a 1 year agreement for their basic plan (product reviews, Q&A, etc) at $3,800/year... Fair enough. In 2024, the price jumps to $5,040/year... Okay, steep - but we're still seeing good use of the tools, sort of justified? For 2025 it skyrockets to $8,976/year (+78% from prior)... But, after a month of haggling and threats to cancel, they 'graciously' drop it to $7,569/year. Now for 2026, Trustpilot is demanding $9,576/year for the EXACT SAME PLAN. That's a 152% increase since we started, with zero added value.
Completing the review for the customer is a simple process which enables us to receive more feedback.
The Trustpilot account management team is a true partner working with each department to help with adoption across the company.
The Trustpilot development team is a trusted partner with our own internal development team, assisting them with implementation as well as integration with their API.
It's not so clear when product reviews are being sponsored
You can offer more sorting options like by price or number of reviews
Sometimes I wonder if reviews are sponsored by the organization. If that's the case perhaps make it more clear. People would like to know if the review is potentially biased.
Its a simple and easy to use tool, you can get set-up and your product published very quickly - its also copies this information to its other review sites. If you have a SaaS product, it should be on your list to sort your Capterra listing out.
Simple user interface - easy to understand with high level overviews, but also getting into the detail with questions for those who want it. The only issue I have is the connection with LinkedIn - sometimes it fails and makes you re-enter details again which can be a bit frustrating!
I've rarely had issues and needed support. During the implementation phase we relied on their support heavily and they were very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. Any questions I've had have been answered promptly by my account manager. They also have a great knowledgebase for self-service support.
AWS CodeArtifact is an excellent choice for organization(s) which are looking to move their infrastructure and devops toolchain to Amazon. It is very useful for teams/organizations on limited budget or do not want to take on infrastructure and maintenance costs associated with the artifact repository. Other software solutions require resources for setting up and need ongoing maintenance.
Very well. It is a lot more niche and bespoke to what we need and are looking for. Trustpilot is very broad and not focused on the digital industries so the results were vague and not constructive to us making decisions. Often Trustpilot reviews were weak in fulling assessing positives and negatives, and was only used to critique customer service of platforms.

Overall CodeArtifact has positive ROI on the our team. We had limited budget for procurement of server/administrators. With CodeArtifact we were able to get some savings.
We were able to deliver faster hence customers were quite happy. That led to customer satisfaction
We didnt have to invest on maintaining network infrastructure/uptime and security. That saved us quite a bit of hassle and funds.
