Azeus Convene vs. Diligent Boards

Azeus Convene's security and collaboration features can create a great business case to introduce technology to the executive management team for board-related matters, especially if they are currently using a 'pen and paper' system. Would recommend for larger companies / large executive teams with busy schedules that find it difficult to collaborate.

I'm pretty sure I've given a description of this in one of my prior answers, but I would like to give a further note of my example that this is well suited for board pack production for our board meetings, specifically in relation to the PLC board meetings we hold regularly within the company function.

• Limited individual training sessions - The only clear and concrete advantage that Diligent has over Convene is that they have unlimited individual user training. But Convene is so intuitive and easy-to-use that you don't usually need to go beyond their free first 4 user/administrator training sessions.

• not so easy to handle access when we have to arrange a specific, non-standard set up of access: sometimes we have to limit the access to one or few of the members of a particular book
• calendar function will be useful, but it is an additional cost
• flexible view options: vertical vs. horizontal

We find the Boards portal to be an effective tool for our board meeting documents. It is user friendly and allows for amendments, additions as needed without compromising documents that have already been uploaded. Additionally, our Board members are comfortable with the platform and confident in their ability to navigate it.

The turnaround time is great, and the customer support team usually resolves queries in one go. However, customer support can improve by suggesting additional helpful activities to improve user experience, rather than limiting it to the specific requests made. Overall, it has been a positive experience with the customer support team.

The training offerings are much better than they used to be 5 years ago. Kudos to that!

We have reviewed all credible products in the market as we prepare to exit our diligent relationship. Although some products were stronger than others, I would have chosen any one of them over Diligent. They are all lower cost and better.
