The decision to use Bananatag was not mine but I have grown more used to the platform and have gradually learned to like it, once people have designed the template. The chrome extension is excellent, the ability to download a PDF or html version of the content to be shared is a …
Bananatag is a free-standing application that plugs into your email service provider. As such, you do not need to be logged into another application to see the results or the real-time tracking of emails like you would with other email trackers. The free application is great if …
Streak's unprofessional business practices are enough for me to switch to another provider. I am genuinely disappointed and upset with their pricing approach. There is a complete lack of respect for business owners who rely on their product. HubSpot and Asana were always on my …
Streak is much faster in its notification that a client is on your email, and it also seemed to be more accurate in letting you know where the client was reading their email from (i.e. geographically speaking).
Hubspot was almost too freeform, I had a hard time grasping how it could work for me because there was so much that could be changed around. Streak was so easy to figure out without much time invested and I like that it just lives in my Gmail without needing to go to a …
Streak is simpler to use, mostly because it lives inside your Gmail/Gsuite inbox and its features are directly connected to the e-mails that you are already working with. But that's not all good. The other software, as they have their own platforms, have more complex features, …
Pipedrive is somehow "disconnected from the rest of the world" being a standalone app (the last time I used it was three years ago, that may have changed.)
Salesforce is over-complicated and cumbersome for the "discovery" part of the sales process.
Streak is straightforward to …
I selected Streak because it was easy to set up and required no admin or developer assistance. I could get myself up and running without having to trouble any others on my team. Other systems I've used are costly and required integrations and authentication to be done …
I would absolutely recommend Bananatag for pretty much anybody in our organization. Its pros far outweigh the cons and it is handy in more ways than you would initially think. It is well suited for any email that is external or client facing. It helps cover the bases in a case of a communication dispute and helps you time email responses better than if you didn't have the tool active.
If you receive a notification that a prospect just read your email and you don't receive a response, you're then aware they've received it and your pitch or product is on their mind -- making a call later that day all the more effective.
Streak could improve in the way it first integrates into Gmail. When you clear Cache and Cookies it disconnects and then you can accidentally send out emails without open-tracking.
It could improve by having a better import system for importing data into the "boxes" used for mail merges.
It could be improved by having the ability to split reminders for companies, based on who you talked to.
Have not really had many opportunities to use the support function but my experience was limited and a little bit clunky. It was not particularly responsive or helpful in terms of trying to resolve the query I was working on. I think the problem was solved by another member of the team that worked on designing their own template.
The decision to use Bananatag was not mine but I have grown more used to the platform and have gradually learned to like it, once people have designed the template. The chrome extension is excellent, the ability to download a PDF or html version of the content to be shared is a big plus point of Bananatag compared to Mailchimp.
HubSpot was almost too freeform, I had a hard time grasping how it could work for me because there was so much that could be changed around. Streak was so easy to figure out without much time invested and I like that it just lives in my Gmail without needing to go to a separate website/login.
