Brex vs. Weel

Very well suited for founders who are building companies in the US but are not US citizens. Works like a charm for start-ups who are looking for a cutting-edge product and not an outdated bank! Small-medium teams. Not well suited for those who are used to traditional banking and prefer in-person interaction or over the phone.

Weel is well suited for businesses where there are multiple teams and if each team needs to track of their budget. It also suits if there are new projects and each project has its own team and team incurs expenses for the business. For example, if there is a construction project and each team needs to use their credit cards to pay some instant expenses, weel is well suited to assign a budget to the team so team does not spend more than what they are assigned (or can be approved) and it is easy to issue/cancel cards on the fly

• Rewards - The rewards were the main reason for us switching. Our previous card provider did not have a good rewards program.
• User Interface and experience - When a charge is recorded on the Brex card, users immediately receive a text notification asking them to send a picture of their receipt. Brex automatically attaches the receipts to the charge which has saved our users a significant amount of time.

• It can be somewhat confusing to transfer money between the credit card and bank side
• More help identifying areas of overspending
• More help tracking spending around specific accounts

It has worked well for us for at least 5 years so I would anticipate us keeping Brex

The usability is pretty great. I love the UI / UX for uploading the Memo; at times, I do not even need to be inside the platform. I simply use Slack.

Prompt and always extremely fast to respond. I also think the intuitiveness of their solution negates the need for much support

Divvy allows you to get hyper focused in on how much individuals are allowed to spend. Honestly it is comparable to Brex, but is more well suited for micromanaging organizational spend. Brex is good because I am able to give my employees limits that match our budgets and I don't care about micromanaging their spend.

Weel has very easy user interface, it is easy to go around the system and support is very knowledgeable if you need any help. AMEX is not as user friendly as Weel and top of it, Weel provides good integration with Xero accounting system. Dashboard is very visible by all employees and users

• No fee wire transfer.
• Net 60 credit card terms is good for our cashflow.
• Fast and easy employee credit cards saves us time.

• We used to waste our time to chase the bank to get and issue a card for employees, it is almost instant to do it via Weel.
• We spent hours to keep track of reimbursement expenses and employees had to wait to get paid back but with Weel, it is all automated and approval process is very visible.
