It's a good product for a company of our size - it doesn't feel like a giant corporation that is cold and unfriendly to work with. It's polished and professional while still maintaining a local fellow business feeling. We have 20 + employees in our main corporate office and the site works well to manage the users and business hours etc. We don't have a 'call center' situation where we are tracking metrics on our staff, but I think there may be some opportunity to pull data out of the reports if that is something that we wanted to do in the future. We have the ability to record phone calls to go back and reference later if needed.

Flowroute

Works perfectly if you're using a DIY SIP VoIP system. Our phones were powered by Asterisk with Flowroute handling all of the actual SIP traffic. No issues whatsoever.

Pros

Broadvoice

  • Calls on Hold, it is very useful when we need to verify client's information
  • It shows where the calls come from and the option selected by the clients
  • The record of the calls is well organized
  • The voicemails section is very detailed

Cons

Broadvoice

  • The group call settings are more challenging to navigate. I generally have to call and have tech support adjust the larger calling groups because the process is not as user-friendly as the individual extensions.
  • The majority of issues have been a result of updates not loading properly.

Broadvoice is an ideal value. It's not the best possible IP based phone system but it's easily one of the best options if cost is a factor. We got a capable and easy to use product while lowering our costs, a total win-win.

At first, it seemed "daunting" to use but that is very much the same with a lot of things that are new. Broadvoice supplies great Quick Sheets to main topics, such as Feature Codes, Flow Charts, User Guides, which are easy to read and follow. Once it is used often, it is easy to understand, follow, and make changes to fit your company

Five9 needed you to be a bit of a techy person to be able to get it to work. My experience with Broadvoice has everything set up prior to the phones being shipped and easy to install once they are shipped.

Return on Investment

Broadvoice

  • We have pretty much cut our phone service bill in half compared to our previous provider.
  • The reliability of the system has reduced downtime to null.
  • Communication, communication, communication is a must for any organization. Broadvoice has met all our expectations plus. Well worth the investment.
