Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice
We use Broadvoice for our phone service. Before Broadvoice came along, we were using Comcast Business Voice, which was okay but sometimes annoying. We paid for "caller ID," but no name ever appeared on the screen. The features on the phones we used were difficult to learn as you had to memorize a number sequence to perform an action. With Broadvoice, we have had no problems so far, "caller ID" works as it should, I am able to answer office calls from my cell phone, no matter where I am, as well as make outgoing calls from my cell & make it appear to the client I am calling from the office. I no longer have to give out my personal cell phone, which is very nice. When you receive calls, they come in from the app, which makes it very easy to identify when a client is calling versus a personal call.
Pros
- Caller ID
- Voicemail Recording
- Transfer Calls
- Voicemail Transcript
- Call Recording
Cons
- Sometimes I have to delete the same message multiple times before it disappears from my phone.
- Call Transfer
- Voicemail
- Call Forwarding
- Faxes
- Call Recording
- Broadvoice has been a reliable phone service for our agency.
We used Comcast mobility lines for years, but compared to Broadvoice, they have a long way to go. I would sometimes have to call Comcast because their website wouldn't let me connect, while their side was showing no issues.

Evaluating Broadvoice and Competitors
Yes - Broadvoice replaced our Comcast Business Voice & Mobility Line. We replaced it because Comcast kept going up year after year. I have to call every so often to have them review my bill & help me get the bill back down a little bit. We also paid for "caller ID," but it hadn't worked for the last two years. I called to ask about it, but all they could say was that I had "caller ID," so it should have worked. The people I spoke with her kind when I called, but sometimes it would get frustrating being on the phone for half an hour and getting nowhere. Overall, I am much happier with Broadvoice.
- Ease of Use
It was important that the processes our employees are used to didn't change too much, as to make it easy to train any newcomers.
