Pipefy

Pipefy is very well suited if you have a team doing any sort of process... for real! It simplified everything from our sales and marketing objectives/processes, to our onboarding and accounting side of things. Since you can share different pipes with others, it's easy to see where others are at in the process and move the card along while keeping others informed. It makes sure you don't miss any information or steps along the way, which is great if your process is detail-oriented. It is a little less appropriate for marketing efforts, but we still try to use it to keep track of things in a central space. Definitely best suited for sales, technical things, and accounting.

  • The team is incredible at integrating background tables, and building out the real-life processes end users are going through so that opportunities can be quickly identified. They continually persevere and are willing to bring in new data sets to make the platform as productive as possible.
  • The team continually challenges our internal business processes and setups to ensure that we are hunting for opportunities and pushing the limits of what we thought was possible for improving our operations
  • The X-ray view within the process explorer and the variant explorer provides a transparent overview of the order to cash process which we did not have previously
  • OLAP tables and different dimensions to slice the data with [helping] us find the root cause of the improvement opportunity that we want to focus on
  • Execution instruments like Action Flow help us take advantage of any insights provided to us within the process explorer
  • Dashboard views of specific KPIs help us build and export management reports with ease

  • Performance: While most of the time the performance is great, there are still days where the performance is too low for too long periods of time.
  • Still some minor, inexplicable errors with no pattern (i.e. Data Load gets stuck for 2 days)
  • Client Centricity (They are working on that with their new structure of Consultants, though)

I strongly believe that we would not be able to accomplish this without her assistance. Moreover, when we escalate matters, the product development is engaged and commits resources to make sure our initiatives/business cases are supported.

It is a great tool but also requires a lot of work to get it into a useable fashion. Part of this is on our end as we don't have the dedicated analyst function yet to really become self-sufficient with Celonis. It also uncovers a lot of data issues or at the very least, multiple rounds of development and data validation are required before getting to a position where the business users feel comfortable with the data being reflected. This is fairly normal with any data-related development effort and perhaps not unique to Celonis.

We submit tickets to Celonis through product support. No assistance is generally provided, have to wait and the ticket is then escalated to product support in Germany. Many times we submit the ticket and the support desk asks us the same questions back where they should already have this information.

Pipefy support is pretty good. There were a few instances where the agent didn't really understand what I was trying to get help with, but that was only once. Every other time it has been pretty fast and efficient. They are also very kind and understanding. I don't think they need much help in that dept

The key difference for me as the user and as an analyst is the ease with which Celonis allowed me to shape the analysis myself. Other tools rely on what an analyst created in hopes that it will serve the purpose to everybody. So many times, however, I find myself stuck, wishing to apply a different angle to my analysis but needing to request IT enhancement, which takes time. Celonis gives me the extra flexibility which I have not yet experienced anywhere else.

We started using software we already had (such as Slack and Sheets) but this software is not actually ideal to manage processes, which led to errors, miscommunication, and execution problems. Trello is good for managing demand but offers no process customization or approval and Jira is too focused on development for our needs, and also hard to customize.

  • Our processes are more organized and we are not missing any steps.
  • We are able to touch base with customers easier since we have all potential/missed clients in one pipe, with automated alerts (i.e. it has been 60 days since contact with this customer).
  • We are able to keep track of customer billing changes easier.
