For the most part, this is a great software solution for the average user. For consulting it's ok, but [there aren't] that many reach features.

  • Wrike is a robust tool - so it can be tailored to suit your team's need.
  • Wrike's customer service is topnotch! Their team responds within 24 hours and is always excited to teach me new and more efficient ways to benefit my team.
  • Wrike is constantly innovating. Their product team really does take customer feedback into account and rolls out updated tools with quick instructions for immediate use.
  • Wrike's Blueprints are my absolute favorite! I have been able to simplify so many workflows and projects by identifying and documenting repeatable sequences of tasks, saving me mental load and sleep! I love not waking up in the middle of the night because I forgot a task!
  • Wrike's Dashboards are a game-changer. I don't have to hunt through folders and projects to figure out what is expected of me from day to day - my dashboard tells me everything I need! Recently, I project managed the O'Keeffe's reopening to the public after closing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. My Reopening Dashboard gave me a quick status check on the many tasks the O'Keeffe's COVID-19 Taskforce was working on to get the Museum back open.

  • Recording feature cannot record phone sound just computer sound.
  • Recording feature does not generate a file with "known" extension, it needs specific player.

  • Task prioritization. While there is currently a "high importance" option, there should be levels of priority including High, Medium, and low level priorities.
  • More customizable features including backgrounds, etc.
  • Ability to add an email address that is a shared group as opposed to limiting to just one person.

Wrike is a free resource for us currently, we moved off the subscription as the team had some adjustments. If we were to go back to a paid model or require more time reporting I'd have to look at alternatives such as Podio. I am the sole manager of Wrike currently internally, and would like to get more people on board to justify the cost

While Wrike is very helpful for organizing big clients' tasks among different projects and folders, sometimes it may not be so intuitive if you don't already know how a task or folder is called, so it may feel kind of tedious unless you use the search bar and try to guess some keywords related to certain tasks. Maybe a more visual-oriented and simpler structure would help.

Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

With frequent updates and new features, Wrike's support team seems to work very diligently on providing constant support to the platform. I appreciate the sunsetting of older features to give our team time to prepare for moving over to new features in lieu of losing the support of older, less efficient features. For example, Personal Spaces was an excellent addition to an already feature-rich "My To-Dos" and "Inbox". Being able to link project/department specific tasks into Personal Spaces has increased my own workflow productivity and efficiency quite a bit.

This includes a 'getting started' sett of videos along with a collection of more in depth videos to assist more experienced users. Combined with their excellent chat support learning wrike is easy and it includes easy access to best practices.

I think it's really about developing a relationship with your Wrike partners, in tandem with your key stakeholders. Once everyone is on the same page, it makes implementation easier. Also, make sure you put a LOT of thought into your Wrike Knowledgebase, clearly plan how you are going to support your users with the key information and answers they will ask

It is simpler to use compared to other tools. Microsoft has a great product but there are a lot of bugs. And compared to GoToMeeting it has more features.

We switched from Asana in 2014 to Workfront because, at the time Asana had a wonderfully simple user experience, but lacked in-depth reporting and dynamic project templates.
We abandoned Workfront in favor or Wrike after 18 months of difficulty trying to get the system to be as easy and transparent as it had been demo'd to us. Workfront seemed to be a clear case of a great rebrand (from AtTask) and marketing that didn't accurately reflect the complex, outdated product at all. My understanding is that Workfront has addressed many of those issues, but we couldn't wait around for those fixes.
During those other transitions, we had also sporadically used Trello and Google apps for projects and collaboration, but neither had everything we needed for true project management.
