Chose MediaRadar
MediaRadar was the best tool in the native advertising space. We use a combination of multiple resources like Alf, Winmo, Seller Crowd to get a holistic view. Every platform has its unique advantages and disadvantages over the others. MediaRadar's support is outstanding and …

Chose MediaRadar
The two products are fairly similar, and I use both to supplement one another. Personally, Winmo is more useful to me as a tool to view industry trends, brand changes, etc. I do also use Winmo for contacts, however Media Radar is what I find most effective when doing brand …

Chose MediaRadar
I am far more confident in MediaRadar's data quality.

Chose Winmo
I currently use both Winmo and MediaRadar. Winmo has the most relevant information in general and is what I use on a daily basis, specifically the WinmoEdge feature. I love that it gets sent to my inbox every day. For me, Media Radar is a supplement product. I find that often Me…

Chose Winmo
Winmo's Adbeat platform is great for industry news and announcements - simpler U/X than MediaRadar.

In my business, I am required to show people my product and go over the details with them in a webinar. For people on the go and away from a computer, this is the perfect answer to be able to share my product over their smartphone. It is highly effective. It is easy for me to use and for my client to use.
It's a great research tool to give someone a direction but it's definitely not the most accurate tool. The agency hierarchy (it shows the holding company structures) and client relationships are awesome. Certain webcrawler activities should available in reports but on the other hand MR builts custom reports if needed. Overall, it's a great tool for sales development. It helps sales and marketing to get started but not to rely on it 100%.

Winmo is best suited when you know which company you are looking for, but are missing some information, including key contacts, agency relationships, and quarterly advertising budgets. Scenarios where it is less appropriate are when you already know which company/contact you are looking for, and you are merely looking for company info to provide context

One of the strengths of Media Radar is that it has a lot of brands in the database. The big money spenders are there, along with smaller brands and startups. This is helpful when I'm looking for information for smaller brands, because I cannot say the same about other products I use.
The contact information is super organized and the site overall is very user-friendly.

MediaRadar is what my company chooses to use for this purpose because of a few specific unique things it does, such as tracking competitors and allowing us to make mock-ups.

I've used a few different services like Winmo, one of them being seamless. Winmo was a lot easier to use and the information that I gather from Winmo seems to be a lot more accurate and easy to navigate. User experience is a big deal, the easier to find information the better.

There has been a positive ROI in terms of list building.
The ROI has also been positive in terms of competitive research.
The ROI has been negative in terms of data quality. When the sales team actually starts using the data as-is without putting in some of their own time to clean the data.
